175 graduates of the Karlsfeld technical college celebrated their graduation in the Karlsfelder Bürgerhaus.

Karlsfeld

- This graduation ceremony was festive and happy: The state-recognized private technical college Karlsfeld (FOS) celebrated with two festive events in the community center, which offered enough space for groups of three with a graduate and two companions from the family.

The mood was excellent.

The decoration team spared no effort or failure when inflating and cheered up the somewhat cool charm of the community hall with a multiple of Nena's 99 balloons.

The grand piano on stage was of course a big win, especially because it was impressively played by two pupils from the 11th grade.

Franziska Meister touched with the song "Experience" by Ludivico Einaudi, Hermine Wahl with "Believer" by the US band Imagine Dragons.

When the successful young people held up their testimonials during the group photo, there was almost no end of cheers.

You had every reason to be.

One and a half years of Corona alternation between distance and face-to-face teaching and only on the “home straight”, i.e. a few weeks before the end of the school year, there was mutual learning like in real life - in class.

175 graduates celebrate their graduation

Headmistress Carola Zankl was pleased that this celebration could now take a step towards normality.

A total of 175 pupils from the fields of "agriculture, biotechnology and environmental technology", "social affairs", "design", "economy and administration" were adopted (we reported).

In the 2019/2020 school year, the FOS Karlsfeld achieved its long-awaited goal of being able to offer the general university entrance qualification with a 13th grade, which corresponds to the high school Abitur, as well as the subject-specific university entrance qualification.

These degrees were achieved by 20 graduates.

Despite the adversity of the Corona, the students achieved top performances

Despite enormous loads, high performance was shown.

Both classes were “the absolute record year” this year, according to the headmistress.

27 students in the 12th grade got the grade 1 before the decimal point, that is 17.4 percent, in the 13th grade the whole 40 percent made it.

Alina Breitenberger with a grade point average of 1.1, Mirjam Meyerle (1.0) and Christina Singer (1.1) were honored as the best of the best from class 12.

From the 13th grade they were Susanne Schulz (1.4) and Verena Walkenhorst (1.5).

Elena von Weitershausen achieved the absolute dream grade of 1.0.

Mirjam Meyerle and Elena von Weitershausen each received a voucher for a language trip from the representative of Sparkasse Benedikt Hüller.

Carola Zankl found very personal, loving words for each of her students.

Her attachment to them was evident.

Deep bond between teachers and students

The close connection between students and teachers over the past two years was also evident in the contributions from the individual classes.

All of them had received a lot of support and encouragement.

Lena Kaupp and Carina Betzmann from the SMV (student co-responsibility) now also looked ahead: “There is a huge mountain in front of us.

But don't forget your goals and dreams. "

Deputy District Administrator Marianne Klaffki also addressed the emotions: “Reach for the stars too.” She admired the graduates for “the nerves, the reasonably cool head and the willpower” that they had shown over the past year and a half.

“That was a great achievement, to which the parents and the staff also made a significant contribution.” They would have motivated and encouraged.

Anyone who has graduated from high school should continue to “ask questions, check facts, question decisions.

Keep your own head and use it to think. "

When everyone finally got their testimony from Carola Zankl and a colorful gerbera from her deputy Rosi Gampe, there was of course no song that was more appropriate than: “We are the Champions”.
