(ANSA) - TARANTO, 25 JUL - A 40-year-old man, with previous penalties, last night tried to kill his 39-year-old wife and then committed suicide by throwing himself into the void from the balcony of his apartment, on the fifth floor of a building in Via Duca degliAbruzzi , in Taranto. The woman, hit in the chin and breastbone with scissors, managed to free herself and escape, taking her two younger children with her. Just as he was leaving the building, the husband threw himself from the balcony, impacting violently on the asphalt and dying instantly.
