Lightning struck a tree on the corner of Liegnitzerstraße and Troppauer Straße in Erding on Saturday evening at around 8.15 p.m.
Erding - The tree was split and parts fell onto a parked mobile home, according to our newspaper.
Several households in the vicinity had no electricity, and overvoltage damage occurred to routers, televisions and telephones.
The Altenerding fire brigade was on duty with its articulated telescopic mast and removed the rest of the tree to secure the site.
