Several Tunisian cities witnessed today, mass demonstrations against the practices of the Brotherhood "Ennahda" movement.
The Tunisian newspaper Al-Shorouk reported that the demonstrators gathered in front of the Tunisian Parliament, which is controlled by the Ennahda movement, in the capital, Tunis, and chanted slogans condemning its policies and practices.
The cities of El Kef, Kairouan, Gafsa, Sousse, Bizerte and Sfax witnessed mass demonstrations since this morning to demand the dissolution of the movement, while demonstrators attacked its headquarters, blaming them for the crisis in the economic situation and for the failure to confront the outbreak of the Corona epidemic.
These demonstrations coincide with the 64th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Tunisia at a time when the country is in a state of discontent and rejection of the policies pursued by the "Ennahda" movement in the face of economic, health and humanitarian crises.
