Erding - The Erdingen police are looking for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured in Erding on Saturday afternoon.
According to the press report, the 30-year-old from Wartenberg rode his red and white racing bike on Wartenberger Strasse in Erding in the direction of Tittenkofen around 5:50 p.m.
Shortly after entering the air base, he said he was overtaken by a truck and hit, so that he fell and was seriously injured in the right ditch.
A multiple trauma was attested on site, according to the emergency doctor "a death of the cyclist could not be ruled out," as the police wrote.
The man came to the Landshut Clinic by rescue helicopter.
There was no property damage to the bike.
There is no evidence of the overtaking truck, which is why the police are looking for witnesses.
