The district keeps its hands off the MVG rental bike project.
It is said that this is a matter for the participating municipalities.
The district administrator has no interest in the project management.
District
- The north swings into the saddle, the south hits the brakes: This is how one could summarize the municipal council's decisions on the rental bike system of the Munich Transport Company (MVG).
Of the 17 cities and municipalities, only Holzkirchen, Otterfing, Valley and Weyarn have spoken out in favor of introducing rental bike stations.
But who is in charge of project management?
Weyarn's mayor Leonhard Wöhr (CSU) proposed the district here, reported District Administrator Olaf von Löwis (CSU) in the district development committee.
Also to motivate other municipalities after all.
However, Löwis waved it off.
Reason: This is not a circular task.
“We shouldn't overdo ourselves with so many projects,” said the district administrator.
The district budget is already heavily burdened, so that priority must be given anyway.
"We shouldn't open this barrel too."
