Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stressed today that the economic war imposed on Iran is unprecedented in the country's history and perhaps in the history of the world.
"The current government can hand over the tasks of power to the next government with positive economic growth, after our conditions during the past three months became better than before," Fars news agency quoted Rouhani as saying during the annual general meeting of the Central Bank of Iran.
Rouhani added: "During this period, our exports increased by more than 69 percent compared to the same period last year, and the growth rate of our major economic companies was 8.7 percent," explaining that the economic war and the Corona pandemic caused many economic difficulties for Iran.
Rouhani had confirmed earlier that the United States had failed to achieve its goals, which it sought through sanctions and unjust embargo, while Iran had won this economic war.
