The patrols of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Deir ez-Zor seized today 40 kg of rotten broiler meat in a warehouse in the city.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Bassam Al-Hazaa, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the quantity of corrupt chickens that was seized was in a warehouse in Al-Jura neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city in preparation for selling it to citizens.
He stressed that the necessary control was organized, the corrupt chickens were destroyed, and the violators were referred to the duly competent judiciary.
