Simone Biles, one of the most anticipated participants in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, debuted this Sunday in the Ariake pavilion with a note of 14,133 and with a departure from the mat in the floor exercise, an apparatus in which she does not lose a competition since 2013.
Biles defends in the Japanese capital the Olympic titles by teams, absolute individual, floor and jumping.
The American did four high-difficulty acrobatic series, the first of them with the triple double that bears her name, and in the third of them she bounced with both feet out of the ring, even off the elevated platform that supports it.
It was penalized with three tenths.

He received the note with a serious gesture, even more so than he showed when entering the gym.
Her 14,133 were lower than the 14,166 of Italian Vanessa Ferrari in the morning session.
Jump, asymmetric and bar will be, in that order, his next devices on this day of its premiere in Tokyo.
In the team qualification round, the Texan gymnast competes accompanied by Sunisa Lee, Grace McCallum and Jordan Chiles.
Biles goes out of bounds in the floor exercise.
Two more Americans, Mykayla Skinner and Jade Carey, also have a place to contest only the individual medals.
Until the participation of the United States, Russia is the team that leads the overall in the qualifying round.
The eight best at the end of the day will go to the final on Tuesday.
