Many trains were at a standstill this Sunday evening in the Paris region due to a problem on the tracks in Massy (Essonne).
According to our information, delays of two to three hours for both departures and arrivals at Montparnasse station were announced and all trains running between Massy TGV and Montparnasse stations were at a standstill.
SNCF advises travelers to postpone their departure.
“The traffic has been interrupted since 5.30 pm.
Our teams are in the process of intervention.
This is the consequence of an incident affecting the track at Massy.
We do not yet have a specific deadline as to the time of resumption of traffic, ”wrote SNCF on its SNCF account.
According to BFMTV, the Essonne firefighters are on site, citing for their part a "structural collapse at the station".
At least one person is wanted, according to firefighters.
