A person died today as a result of a motorcycle collision with a tanker on the Homs-Damascus international road near the town of Hasya.
A source at the Public Roads Police Station in Hasya told SANA reporter that the accident was caused by a fuel tanker colliding with a motorcycle, when the motorcyclist tried to cut off the road from an illegal crossing by accident, which led to the shock of the tanker and his death on the spot.
Two days ago, five people, including two children, died in two separate accidents on the Damascus-Homs road.
