Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to take decisive measures to compel the Israeli occupation to stop its crimes and violations in the occupied Palestinian territories and to protect the Palestinian people.
The ministry said in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the crimes of the occupation and its settlers are increasing on a daily basis against the Palestinians, their lands and their homes, as the mechanisms and bulldozers of the occupation continue to steal more Palestinian land and allocate it for the benefit of settlement, noting the recent Israeli attacks on Palestinian homes in the villages of Qaryut and Al-Tuwana and the continuation of the settlement expansion in the Jordan Valley And the seizure of Jabal Abu Al-Shawareb in the village of Kafr Ra’i in Jenin.
The Foreign Ministry stressed the need to document daily Israeli violations, noting the need for the Human Rights Council to confirm the seventh item on its agenda, which is devoted to human rights violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
On May 27, the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted a resolution to form an independent international commission of inquiry on the Israeli aggression in the Palestinian territories and to ensure respect for international humanitarian law and international human rights law in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem and the territories occupied in 1984.
