The scourge of the "urban rodeo", which consists for the young people of the cities to make the "rear wheel" and acrobatics on backfiring cars, has exploded since the end of confinement. Omnipresent with the return of sunny days, it rots the peace of our fellow citizens and is too often the source of tragedies. The most recent dates back to the night of July 16 to 17, when a 21-year-old young woman died during a wild race in Glisy, near Amiens. A motorcyclist lost control of his fast-moving vehicle and crashed into the young woman who was crossing the lane on which the rodeo was taking place. Like the victim, who died shortly after arriving in the emergency room from his injuries, no less than 300 people had come to watch this “show”. A few hours ago,the anti-crime brigade intervened to interrupt this same gathering.
