The United Nations World Health Organization today warned of the exacerbation of acute malnutrition among children in Yemen due to the continuation of the aggression led by the Saudi regime against this country since 2015.
The organization announced on the account of its mission in Yemen via Twitter that "acute malnutrition has reached record levels in Yemen, causing catastrophic losses for children under five," adding that "approximately 2.25 million children under the age of five in Yemen are expected to suffer from acute malnutrition during 2021.”
The organization indicated its continued efforts to save children from this danger that threatens their lives.
The ongoing Saudi aggression on Yemen has resulted in tens of thousands of victims and huge material losses, while 80 percent of the population of 30 million people has become dependent on aid in the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, according to what the United Nations announced last December.
