Tunisia-SANA

The Tunisian authorities closed the office of the Qatari channel (Al-Jazeera) in the country, against the background of its inciting role and its violation of Tunisian laws.

And the Tunisian newspaper Al-Shorouk reported that the security forces closed the office of the Qatari (Al-Jazeera) channel in Tunis and removed all employees from it.

It is noteworthy that the aforementioned channel has contributed with the regime of the Sheikhdom of Qatar since 2011 in implementing the games of the West’s policies by plotting against the countries of the region and dividing them through disinformation campaigns far from the truth and professionalism that contributed to supporting the expansion of terrorist organizations in many Arab countries.

The Tunisian presidency had called on the people earlier today to pay attention and not slip behind the advocates of chaos, noting that the order to freeze the activities of the Tunisian parliament will continue for 30 days.

Tunisian President Kais Saied had issued orders dismissing the Prime Minister, Hisham Mechichi, and the Ministers of Defense and Justice, and that the secretaries-general or those charged with administrative and financial affairs at the head of the government and the aforementioned ministries handle their administrative and financial affairs until a new prime minister and new members are named.
