The number of corona cases in Germany continues to rise.
According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the incidence has cracked another mark.
Everything was fine three weeks ago.
Berlin - Experience has shown that the number of corona cases is rather low at the start of the week.
But the RKI recorded another 958 new corona infections this Monday.
A week ago it was 546. The 7-day incidence is now 14.3 (previous day: 13.8), according to the data on the RKI Covid 19 dashboard.
Three more corona deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours.
It had been a death a week ago.
Corona in Germany: "Warning level 3" applies in Solingen (NRW)
In the urban and rural districts, Solingen (North Rhine-Westphalia) is still particularly affected by Corona: According to the RKI Covid 19 dashboard, the 7-day incidence * is now 67.2 (previous day: 64.7).
From this Monday (July 27th), the "warning level 3" and thus even stricter corona rules will apply.
There is a compulsory corona test in outdoor catering, also for cultural and sports events in the open air or in the swimming pool.
The city of Solingen announced that holidaymakers must also have themselves tested at their workplace before returning.
The contact restrictions in public spaces are stricter: relatives from two households are allowed to meet.
The number of people is unlimited.
Immunized persons are exempt from the rule.
However, private parties and events are prohibited.
Incidence in the Bavarian district skyrockets
The district of Lüneburg 63.0 (previous day: 59.2) is also marked in red on the Corona map.
In the Berchtesgadener Land, the incidence jumped from 35.9 to 58.5.
As of this Monday, it is again mandatory to wear a mask in schools from the 5th grade.
The health authorities urge the population to get tested.

Corona in Germany: RKI reports the current number of corona cases (as of July 26, 2021)
3,756,856 people in Germany have been infected with Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the corona pandemic.
So far, 91,527 people have died of or with Corona, according to the RKI.
The RKI stated the number of those who had recovered at 3,646,100.
The RKI estimates there are currently 19,200 active corona cases.
