Anna Kiesenhofer's story is not only notable for her brilliant victory in women's road cycling. The Austrian has a PhD in Mathematics, and little by little she developed a passion for cycling until she reached the Olympic summit in Fuji on Saturday with the obtaining of the gold medal. Kiesenhofer studied at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and there he learned to speak Spanish. The also extriathlete, lives in Lausanne, Switzerland, where she works as a researcher and teacher in the field of partial differential equations. Elizabeth Pérez spoke with the medalist in Tokyo.
