- A 30-year-old Austrian was seriously injured in an accident on Monday around 4.10 a.m. on the A 92 between the Moosburg Süd and Erding junctions.
According to the police, the man had steered his VW Passat against the guardrail on the left while driving in the direction of Munich, the cause is unclear.
The vehicle then overturned several times and came to a halt on the right in the green strip.
The Austrian, who was alone in the vehicle, was trapped and seriously injured.
After he was rescued, he was flown to a Munich clinic in a rescue helicopter.
For this, the motorway in the direction of Munich was completely closed for an hour.
At around 5.50 a.m., the left lane was open to traffic again.
At around 8 a.m., the lane was completely cleared again.
In addition to the emergency doctor and rescue service, the Erding, Moosburg and Langenpreising fire brigades, the Freising motorway maintenance facility, a rescue helicopter and the Freising traffic police were on duty. The total damage amounts to around 25,000 euros.
