The spokesman explained that the meeting recommended urgently equipping the isolation centers, increasing the bed capacity in them, providing the necessary needs for them, including all operating institutions, allocating a hospital in every major city as an isolation center in case of necessity, providing the needs of health workers in the fight against Corona, and emphasizing that the closure of educational institutions is determined by a committee. Epidemiology alone.

During this meeting, the Epidemiology Committee recommended closing cafes, event halls, summer resorts, restaurants and public parties, and organizing special vaccination campaigns in isolation centers, maternity and emergency departments, and institutions that have extensive interaction with the public.

Libya, like the rest of North African countries, is witnessing the spread of a new wave of the Corona epidemic, which requires taking strict precautionary measures to confront it.

And the Center for Disease Control in Libya announced last Tuesday that the number of coronavirus infections recorded during the past week amounted to 10,926 cases, compared to 3,037 cases in the previous week.
