A woman wearing a
Charlie Hebdo
t-shirt
was stabbed by a man on Sunday July 25 in Hyde Park, London, the
BBC
reports
.
She was taken to hospital but her life is not in danger, London police said.

The man is immediately pursued by several witnesses to the scene, as well as by a London police car.
Slightly injured in the head, the woman was initially treated on site by the London ambulance service, before being taken to a hospital in the center of the English capital.

A knife was recovered nearby,
" London police said in a statement.

Westminster-based officers are working alongside Royal Parks UCO colleagues to investigate and identify the responsible person
."
The police have called for witnesses to find the perpetrator.

We know this assault was seen by a number of people, many of whom captured it on their phones.
I ask them, if they haven't already done so, to contact the police.

We are staying in the early stages of our investigation and are working hard to find the person responsible. I ask people not to speculate on the motive for the attack until we have established all the facts,
”the police insisted. No arrests have yet been made.
