The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa organized 23 catering seizures against violating commercial activities in the province.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Engineer Hamidi Al-Khalil, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the seizures that were organized today and yesterday were distributed to the Nawa automated bakery for violating the production of poorly made bread, and for a fuel station in Daraa, violating the removal of bullets from the boards, and the presence of an irregular delivery cable with the aim of reducing the burden.
Al-Khalil indicated that the arrests also included the owner of an accessories store in Daraa, Al-Sabil neighborhood, with a violation of possession of unknown materials, a local owner of clothing in Daraa Al-Madina, with a violation of not placing a plate showing the consumer’s right to exchange and return, service drivers with a violation of refraining from performing a service and not announcing the allowance for passenger transport service, and the owner of a restaurant in The town of Al-Qunya for a violation of selling at an excessive price, and the owner of a sanitary ware store in Al-Sanamayn for a violation of refraining from selling, in addition to seizures for a violation of presenting irregular purchase invoices.
During the Eid al-Adha holiday, the Directorate organized 13 catering controls for not declaring prices and not circulating bills, in addition to not declaring the allowance for water transportation services.
