Passat overturns several times on the A92 - driver trapped and seriously injured

A serious accident occurred on the A92 near Moosburg.

A 30-year-old was trapped in his Passat.

- A 30-year-old driver from Austria was trapped in his Passat and seriously injured in an accident on the A 92 on Monday at around 4 a.m. According to the police, the man was driving in the direction of Munich when he was driving his car between the Moosburg junction -Süd und Erding hit the guardrail on the left for an unexplained cause.

The Passat overturned several times and came to a stop on the right in the grass verge.

The Austrian, who was alone in the car, was trapped in his wreck.

The seriously injured man had to be rescued from his car by the fire brigade.

He was then taken to a Munich clinic in a rescue helicopter.

25,000 euros in damage

The A 92 had to be closed for an hour in the direction of Munich.

At around 5:50 a.m. the left lane was open again, and at 8 a.m. the motorway could be opened.

In addition to the emergency doctor and rescue service, the fire brigades from Erding, Moosburg and Langenpreising were on duty.

The total damage is 25,000 euros.
