In Nicaragua, the opposition presidential candidate María Asunción Moreno reported this Sunday that she decided to leave the country "due to harassment, persecution and the threat of imprisonment" by the government of President Daniel Ortega.

In her Twitter account, the also constitutional lawyer belonging to the Civic Alliance for Justice and Democracy considered that from the "hard exile" she will contribute more than "from the isolation and solitary confinement to which our political prisoners are subjected" .
