Córdoba: Mario Negri faces Luis Juez and the PRO plays two points

Frantic negotiations took place in Together for Change in the province of Córdoba, a territory hostile to Kirchnerism where the alliance of the UCR and the PRO will seek to keep the two majority seats in Senators.

The fight for the Upper House was defined a long time ago, but nobody knew which women were going to accompany Mario Negri and Luis Juez.

And there were moments of tension when Laura Rodríguez Machado, who was in tandem with Negri, asked to be a deputy, leaving the possibility of a 100% radical binomial.

Negotiations changed throughout the day and

Gustavo Santos, who initially appeared allied to Luis Juez,

will finally be the first candidate for deputy on the list with the head of the JxC interblock in the Lower House, where nine seats are renewed for that province .

Consequently, Mario Negri is presented as a candidate for senator along with Soher El Sukaria (Pro).

The list for Deputies is headed by Gustavo Santos (Pro), seconded by Soledad Carrizo (UCR).

Meanwhile, Luis Juez (Civic Front) is running for the upper house with Carmen Álvarez Rivero of Primero la Gente.

This list will have Rodrigo de Loredo of the UCR as a pre-candidate for deputy in the first place, followed by Laura Rodríguez Machado and Héctor Baldassi of the Pro.

According to sources of Cordovan radicalism confided to Clarín, there would be

two more lists

, considered testimonial by the main candidates.

One includes the former deputy of the Civic Coalition Griselda Baldata for the Senate and the Alfonsinista Dante Rossi as the first deputy.

And another to the former provincial legislator Javier Bee Sellares with the socialist deputy Laura Sesma for two positions.

For its part, the FdT nominates the current senator

Carlos Caserio

and the national deputy Gabriela Estévez

as a candidate to the Upper House

, while in the list of deputies it proposes the Secretary of Public Works of the Nation, Martín Gill, and secondly to the Peronist leader of the city of Córdoba Olga Riutort.

The We do for Córdoba (HxC) alliance, led by Governor Juan Schiaretti and whose main partner is the PJ, promotes the president's wife, the national deputy Alejandra Vigo, for the Senate, seconded by the current Minister of Industry, Commerce and Mining local, Eduardo Accastello.

Although the list of deputies was not announced, it transpired that it would be headed by the provincial legislator,

Natalia de la Sota

, daughter of the former provincial president, followed by the current mayor of San Francisco Ignacio García Aresca and in third place the deputy Claudia Márquez, who seeks to renew banking.

Santa Fe: without a unity agreement, the candidates of the FdT, JxC and Frente Amplio Progresista will be defined in the PASO

In Santa Fe, the Frente de Todos, Juntos por el Cambio and the Frente Amplio Progresista (FAP)

failed in their attempt to reach

unity

agreements

and will contest internally in the PASO on September 12 to renew the three seats in the Senate and the nine seats in Deputies disputed by the district.

Two lists

Juntos por el Cambio presented its lists for the September PASO in Mendoza, with two former governors, Alfredo Cornejo (Senate) and Julio Cobos (Deputies) as the main protagonists.

But he also added the current governor Rodolfo Suarez as Cornejo's substitute, in the pretense of a future castling for 2023.

The current deputy Cornejo will be accompanied by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mariana Juri;

While former Vice President Cobos will have Senator Pamela Verasay and PRO legislator Álvaro Martínez as his partner on the list, in a race to elect three senators and five new deputies for Mendoza.

Santa Cruz: the return of former governor Sergio Acevedo was highlighted in the closing of lists for Deputies

The former governor of Santa Cruz

Sergio Acevedo

was the great surprise in the closing of lists in the province governed by Alicia Kirchner in the face of the PASO on September 12 that will define the candidates for the November 14 elections.

Acevedo, who returns to politics after 15 years of leaving the governorship, will go as the third candidate for National Deputy on the SER Santa Cruz list, led by the oil trade unionist Claudio Vidal.

To them is added the former radical mayor of Caleta Olivia, Facundo Prades.

He was the elected president with the highest percentage of votes in the history of Santa Cruz, with almost 75% of the votes in 2003.

He had been deputy governor of Néstor Kirchner, but had a tense relationship with Kirchnerism.

He resigned in March 2006, after a strong social tension in the province that ended with the death in a protest by police officer Jorge Sayago in the north.

Since his resignation from the governorship, Acevedo had close ties with Elisa Carrió or Fernando “Pino” Solanas, and in 2007 he supported the radical Eduardo Costa with the provincial Nuevo Movimiento party, accompanying candidates in some municipal positions.
