Tennis: Camila Giorgi wins and continues to amaze

Camila Giorgi's magical moment continues at the women's tennis tournament of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. After having surprisingly eliminated the American Bardy (number 16 in the world) in the first round, today the Italian tennis player (58 in the world) clearly defeated (6-3 6-1) also the Russian Elena Visnina (56 in the world). 

Defeated in the second round by Georgian Nikolosz Basilashvili (number 41 in the world), Lorenzo Sonego was eliminated from the Olympic men's tennis tournament in Tokyo 2020.

The Turin player (seeded number 13 and 26 in the world) lost 6-4 3-6 6-4.

So the only Italian left in the race for the medals is Fabio Fognini, who won the qualification for the round of 16 by overcoming the Belarusian Gerasimov.

Lorenzo Sonego and Lorenzo Musetti were eliminated by Croatians Mektic and Pavic in the second round of the men's doubles with a score of 7/5, 6/7, 10/7.
