The Freising JU boss Christopher Bergmann was re-elected.

One hundred percent.

And he got three "new ones" at his side.

Freising

- “You are my political home”, emphasized CSU local chairman Jürgen Mieskes at the annual general meeting of the Junge Union (JU) on Friday in the Grüner Hof. Like the member of the Bundestag Erich Irlstorfer, Mieskes was in the best of mood for the election campaign. Both used the JU meeting as a prelude to the following annual general meeting of the CSU (see report above). Mieskes looked back: For him, too, it started with the JU, now he is a city councilor and sports officer. Mayor Tobias Eschenbacher brought him to politics - and he was, Mieskes reminded, actually "one of us". What Mieskes particularly likes: Through his work in the city council, he can “hold strings in hand”. For example, the most recent city council meeting dealt with the sensitive issue of air filters for classrooms,in which, in his opinion, the CSU had been “thrashed”. For Mieskes the question arises: “Is it about the money or just about CSU bashing?” So only a “minimal application” was accepted, which now has to be written out laboriously. "Two years have passed now," said Mieskes angrily.

The JU chairman was re-elected with 100 percent

The JU district chairman Martin Hauner also wished for a strong youth in terms of young talent, because the Union must absolutely remain at the helm of government.

Only this would ensure that everyone was “in wages” and that as many people as possible could afford their own home.

But what about the JU Freising?

Chairman Christopher Bergmann gave information: The JU currently has 37 members, twelve of whom are female.

Ten of them had come to vote in the upcoming election.

There were some changes here, because all deputy positions had to be filled.

Bergmann remains boss, who was elected 100 percent old and new boss with ten votes, so to speak.

The fresh runners-up: Melanie Haußner, Florian Huber and Kilian Winhart.

For a new term of office, Marcus Fleischmann will be available as treasurer and Marco Riedel as secretary.

We urgently need new members

Bergmann was happy that meetings were finally possible again, because for the JU the community and social aspects would play a role - also to bring urgently needed new members on board.

Erich Irlstorfer also emphasized how important the CSU is in general.

For example in the Freising City Council: there are few, but they are “thumbtacks” that “open up” important issues.

Young politicians come first for him, but also that you talk to young people and not about them.

That is modern politics.
