In 2021 Argentina celebrates the Open, Simultaneous and Mandatory Primary elections (PASO) and the general election.
The scheduled date for the PASO is September 12, 2021, while the general elections will be held on November 14, according to information from the National Electoral Chamber of Argentina (CNE).
What is voted in the mid-term elections in Argentina?
In 2021, Argentina's mid-term elections are held to renew 127 of the 257 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 24 of the 54 seats in the Chamber of Senators.
Who can vote in the midterm elections in Argentina?
According to the CNE website, all "native Argentines and by option from sixteen (16) years old and naturalized Argentines from eighteen (18) years old are entitled to vote, as long as they appear on the electoral roll and display an enabling document." .
