The exhibition of the Construction Innovation and Technology Application Center and Zero Carbon World will open today (26th) at Zero Carbon World. It will showcase the latest technology and design products of the construction industry and provide games for visitors to learn about environmental protection.
The exhibition is open to the public to visit, free of charge. The public must make an appointment in the name of a group or individual on the website of the Construction Industry Zero Carbon Building.

Divided into 6 exhibition areas, visitors can use VR to control the scales
The lower-level exhibits of the exhibition center are provided by the Construction Innovation and Technology Application Center, which is divided into 6 exhibition areas, mainly displaying innovative technologies and designs used in the construction industry, including the Internet of Things, robotics, and intelligent management.
Among them, visitors can use the application equipment of virtual reality (VR) technology, including VR glasses and hand controls, to simulate and control tower cranes commonly known as "libras" and other construction equipment, and to simulate facing different industrial accidents.
The design of this equipment is mainly used for safety training, so that construction workers can face various situations more proficiently and safely in reality.
In addition to VR technology, the exhibition also exhibited smart helmets with various functions.
This helmet has built-in sensors that can detect the physical condition and position of workers.
If workers work under the tunnel and walk into the dangerous area, the helmet can warn them to ensure their safety.
In addition, the helmet is also equipped with a cooling fan, allowing workers to work comfortably under the scorching sun.
In terms of project management, the exhibition has an intelligent control room for data management and monitoring.
Unlike in the past, it is necessary to use more than a dozen platforms to monitor different types of data. By building a virtual world and inputting real-world data into it, the intelligent control room can gather different required data.
And the monitoring personnel do not need to go to the construction site to check closed-circuit television, the number of site workers, body temperature and other information in the company.
The upper floor of the exhibition center is organized by the Construction Industry Zero Carbon World, which mainly sets up interactive exhibitions and AR games to provide visitors with different environmental protection concepts and knowledge.
Take the interactive exhibition "Urban Forest" as an example. Visitors only need to select the species they want to learn about on the tablet, including more than 12 species of birds and more than 39 species of plants in the zero-carbon world, and then they can know the creatures The characteristics and habits of the animal.
In addition, there are also different two-player games on the floor. The gameplay includes collecting beach trash to protect sea turtles, shooting down recyclable building materials, and swinging the body to charge the solar car.
In addition to games, there is also a video viewing area on the floor. The content of the video is mainly about famous people engaged in environmental protection work, such as Swedish girl Greta Thunberg and Taiwanese Huang Zhiyang.
The lower level of the exhibition center is open from 10 am to 5 pm, while the upper level is open from 9:15 am to 6 pm. The two floors are closed on Wednesdays.
The public must first make an appointment in the name of a group or individual on the website of the Construction Industry Zero Carbon World, before they can arrange the visit, free of charge.
