The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 35 new infections and 7 deaths from the emerging corona virus during the past 24 hours.
Ministry spokesman, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 284,059, and the total number of deaths has reached 16,494.
Mujahid indicated that 358 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovered to 227,970 people to date.
