This evening, an artistic concert was held at Al-Azem Palace in Damascus, which was performed by the Artistic Dance and Singing Ensemble of the Missile Corps in the Russian Federation.

The ceremony, which was held by the Russian Cultural Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture on the sidelines of the Syrian-Russian meeting to follow up on the work of the International Conference on the Return of Syrian Refugees and Displaced Persons, included musical, lyrical, and dancing panels.

Brigadier General Vyacheslav Saytov, deputy head of the orchestra “Red Star” stressed that the aim of the performance was to present happiness and a high level of music to Syrians and Russian citizens living in Syria and in the ancient historical city of Damascus.

Ballerina Ekaternia Levakina, who joined the troupe 18 years ago, stated that she performs this type of art to spread and present joy and happiness to people, pointing out that she performed this performance in the city of Aleppo, where the audience welcomed her.

Ekaternia expressed her happiness to come to Syria and the warm welcome given to the band.

Aritom Greek, a member of the band, considered that this show came to present the audience with positive energy and happiness, to raise people's morale, and to show an image that the army is not only a firepower but an artistic musical force.
