Cuba announced that its embassy in Paris had been attacked with Molotov cocktails and blamed the United States for the incident.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parilla said on Twitter today: “A terrorist act was committed against our embassy in Paris using Molotov cocktails,” adding: “We consider the United States government to bear responsibility for the ongoing campaigns against our country that incite such behavior and calls for violence with impunity.”
This is not the first attack on Cuban embassies abroad, as unknown assailants shot the building of the Cuban embassy in Washington last April without causing any casualties.
Cuba has been subjected to an unjust economic embargo imposed by the United States for nearly 60 years due to its policies rejecting the attempts of American exclusivity and hegemony.
