The Mexican president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, defended the effectiveness of the covid-19 vaccines applied in Mexico, and called on the population not to be afraid.

In the morning conference, he revealed that his son, Jesús Ernesto López Gutiérrez, 14, was infected with covid-19 and was living with him and his wife, Beatriz Gutiérrez Müller, adding that thanks to the fact that they were both vaccinated they did not present problems with the disease.
