The Mexican Ministry of Health announced the registration of 171 deaths and 5,920 new infections with the Corona virus during the last 24 hours.
And the ministry reported in a new statistic that the number of injuries in the country increased to about 2.7 million, and deaths to 238,595 people.
Mexico is the 16th country in the world in terms of the number of recorded infections with the Corona virus, but it ranks 4th in terms of death toll. However, representatives of the health sector have repeatedly stressed that the real numbers of infections and deaths due to the virus in the country may be much higher than the official toll. The victims of the pandemic in the country are 60 percent greater.
