After the grand opening with over 300 guests, a concert and guest speakers in the Tegernsee spa garden (we reported), the Olaf Gulbransson Society is delighted with the extremely successful start of the exhibition.
According to a press release, 1227 guests in just one week mean a new visitor record.
More than 60 works by the world-famous artist Marc Chagall will be guests in Tegernsee until January 9, 2022.
Olaf-Gulbransson Museum: Ancient love story of Daphnis and Chloé - paintings and watercolors
The focus of the exhibition is the ancient love story of Daphnis and Chloé, and other works - paintings and watercolors - are all about love, about couples who float and find support.
Chagall is regarded as the “Jewish artist” par excellence, who will be extensively presented in Tegernsee as part of the festival year “1700 Years of Jewish Life in Germany”.
