The Syrian Ambassador in Tehran, Dr. Shafiq Diop, discussed with Mojtaba Haidari, a member of the Administrative Committee and Executive Director of the Central Company for Hajj and Visitation in Tehran Governorate, ways to enhance cooperation in various cultural, economic and tourism fields.
Ambassador Diop reviewed with Haidari, an advisor to the President of Tufrish University, the possibility of cooperation in educational and research affairs with Iranian knowledge companies, exchanging educational cooperation with Tufrish University, and providing scholarships for Syrian students.
Ambassador Diop affirmed Syria's readiness to provide facilities for Iranian visitors wishing to come to it and visit its religious places, pointing out also to the importance of scientific and cultural cooperation and the exchange of experiences between Syrian and Iranian educational institutions.
For his part, Haidari pointed out the full readiness to cooperate with the concerned Syrian authorities and to strengthen the scientific infrastructure to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
It is worth mentioning that Tafrosh University is concerned with graduating human cadres specialized in scientific and technical affairs. It includes four faculties, 17 research centers and 45 scientific specializations in the bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
