Thus, the number of category A unemployed fell by 2% in June compared to May, standing at 3.656 million people in all of France, excluding Mayotte.

In the second quarter, the number of category A job seekers was thus established at 3.750 million people, and thus marks a decrease of 1.3%.

Categories A, B and C combined, the number of job seekers fell by 2.1% in one year and 0.5% over a quarter.
A more marked decline among young people
While it concerns all age categories, the overall decline in the number of job seekers is observed more particularly among young people.
