Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Israeli occupation is trying by force to impose new facts on the ground in the occupied city of Jerusalem, indifferent to the relevant UN resolutions, calling on the international community to stop the occupation's plans to Judaize the city and support the steadfastness of the Palestinians in it.
In a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the settlement occupation scheme in the areas of Sultan Suleiman Street and Salah El-Din Street in the center of Jerusalem, especially as it is part of the plans to Judaize the city, obliterate its identity, and change its historical, civilizational and cultural features.
The Foreign Ministry clarified that this Judaization scheme targets Palestinian properties and buildings that are of public benefit to the Palestinians, including some endowment properties and churches. It also affects all levels of Jerusalemites' lives and their movement in the region.
The Foreign Ministry warned that this plan and the escalation of the occupation, demolishing Palestinian homes in Jerusalem and launching daily arrest campaigns against them and banishing them from the city, aims to change the historical and legal situation in it and Judaize it, which calls for a quick move by the international community to implement the relevant UN resolutions.
