On the two machines, a list mentioning the 300 elected officials who had praised "the courage of the decisions taken by Emmanuel Macron", in a column in the Journal du dimanche on July 18, had been posted.

Bernard Tastet, the mayor of Samadet, in the Landes, cannot get over it.

The city councilor says he is angry and particularly

"

upset

"

against the individuals who have left a wooden guillotine in a parking lot in his small town of 1,200 souls, in front of a nursing home.

On the machine, measuring nearly two meters high and discovered Saturday, July 24 at dawn, a list of several hundred French elected officials favorable to the sanitary pass was plastered.

And a text stapled on the guillotine suggested that the staging was claimed by the "Jean Moulin committee", which says it is fighting for respect for the fundamental rights of citizens.

Contacted by our colleagues from France Bleu Gascogne, the committee denies any such act.

"We do not claim any action as such [...] The Jean Moulin committee has never manufactured the slightest guillotine, and has not invited anything to do so"

, he justified.

The message against the elect is not trivial. This is very serious. And I really do not understand why such an act was committed here. Most of the inhabitants of Samadet are in favor of the health pass. Today we must be at something like 80 or 85% of the rate of people vaccinated in the town,

Bernard Tastet

.

And the mayor underlined that “

during the crisis, our caregivers were exemplary in their role of protecting the population

”. Bernard Tastet has already filed a complaint and hopes that those responsible will be punished for their actions. A gendarmerie investigation must be opened.

The list stapled on the guillotine is that of the 300 elected officials from the right and from the left who hailed "

the courage of the decisions taken by Emmanuel Macron

", in a column in the Journal du dimanche, on July 18.

A few kilometers from Samadet, in the town of Geaune (Landes), a similar guillotine was discovered the same day on the town hall square.
