Andrea Reuß, headmistress at the Fürstenfeldbruck vocational school, defends herself against a repeatedly audible statement in one of her first sentences: “No way lost the year”, she said at the beginning of a graduation ceremony.

For this, the graduates received their certificates for the first time in the new building complex, which was completed in autumn 2020 and only recently officially inaugurated.
With her statement, Reuss was referring to the performance of the students.
Of 433, 384 have successfully completed their time in vocational school and in the company.
Of these, 81 achieved an average grade of 1.5 and better.
But Reuss couldn't get rid of the circumstances of the corona pandemic in her speech either.
“You are finishing an extraordinary school period,” she said to her former protégés.
“You can be proud of that.” She paid great respect to the successful graduates.
“You have shown that you have bite.
Stay true to yourself. "
Achievement deserves recognition
District Administrator Thomas Karmasin followed suit in a video message.
Working towards a degree for a good one and a half years under pandemic conditions is a great achievement: "They have made it, they have it behind them." That deserves every recognition, added the district administrator.
The graduation ceremony also honored the graduates of the “Vocational School +” educational offer, which has been offered since the 2018/2019 school year.
With this, vocational training and technical college entrance qualification can be achieved within a training course.
The current year is therefore the first to have passed the technical diploma at the Bruck vocational school.
The headmistress Reuss also honored the contribution of the “Förderverein BeSserFFB”.
This made it possible to award 17 cash prizes to particularly successful students.
The five celebrations at the vocational school were musically framed on the keyboard by the teacher Roswitha Ittlinger. In addition to the Queen classic "We are the Champions" at the certificate award ceremony, she also played the "play of colors in the wind".
