A violent storm with hail and heavy rain particularly affected the villages of Weyarn and Valley.
Weyarn - On Monday evening another huge thunderstorm cell moved across the district.
The storm had heavy rain and hailstones with a diameter of several centimeters in the luggage.
The emergency services were challenged almost all night.
Storm in Miesbach: hailstones break through window panes
For many citizens of the community of Weyarn it must have been a queasy feeling when they saw the storm raging on their doorstep.
Hailstones almost as thick as golf balls shot from the sky on Monday evening.
You weren't even safe from the bullets in the house, as a video on Twitter shows.

Heavy rain makes the farmers around the Taubenberg to create
After the hail came the water.
Here too, the communities of Weyarn and Valley were particularly hard hit.
Numerous cellars were full and streets were barely passable.
Sometimes the local fire brigades couldn't keep up and received support from colleagues from the Munich district.
Especially on Taubenberg, such large masses of water must have come down that one of Munich's drinking water reservoirs overflowed and torrents flooded the surrounding courtyards.
Farmers probably built emergency dams with manure to cope with the water masses.

Later, the rescuers from the fire service and the THW helped out with sandbags.
The torrents probably ran down the streets until well after midnight.
Only in the morning will the full extent of the damage show.
