"Please freak out!": Graduates from Moosburg Middle School have every reason to be happy

The graduates of the M-Zug at the Moosburg Middle School received not only certificates, but also a lot of praise.

The numbers show that they deserve it.

- The pandemic presented many people with extreme tasks, and the Moosburger Schäfflerhalle was full of young people who passed their challenge with asterisks.

55 pupils in the tenth grade of the Georg-Hummel-Mittelschule in Moosburg were said goodbye - with their certificates and secondary school leaving certificate.

Headmistress Karin Schmidt is not a fan of lavish statistics, but these numbers had to be simple: 92 percent of the graduates have passed the exams and will now be released into working life with secondary school leaving certificate. At the top are the proud eight students, whose average grade has the one before the decimal point. The Rector emphasized that such performance reports after a year and a half of the pandemic are a compliment for the school: "Please freak out!"

She also passed part of the compliment on to the Mayor of Moosburg, Josef Dollinger.

She used the small ceremony in the Schäfflerhalle to say thank you for the software for distance learning: “That wasn't cheap for the city, but it saved us.” Above all, however, all the guests took off their hats, as did the young people at school Have pulled through the final spurt.

“That was a great result under adverse circumstances,” said Mayor Josef Dollinger.

He also noted that he once graduated from secondary school himself.

“And you can see that you can achieve a lot.

You too can become mayor. ”In general, Dollinger is a winner of this excellent Moosburg vintage.

Of the five best - Emily Hanson (average 1.22), Laura Eichner (1.33), Janine Grindl (1.33), Catalina Mihoci (1.56) and Leonita Smakiqi (1.56) - two start with one Apprenticeship at the city of Moosburg.

"Three times FOS and twice City of Moosburg - it couldn't have been better," said Dollinger.

With the year, the Georg Hummel Middle School said goodbye to a number of young personalities who will be missed in the future.

One of them is definitely Head Girl Alina Manhart.

The three school paramedics Laura Eichner, Isabella Schachl and Anna-Lena Frey were also honored.

In the fifth grade, you started directly with the school medical service and helped to ensure that Moosburg's school medical technicians have meanwhile been recognized as the best in Bavaria.

Schoolchildren give out special prizes for nerds, class clowns and latecomers

The students themselves were responsible for the somewhat different honors.

In the individual classes they awarded special prizes in the categories nerd, class clown, diva and latecomer.

After a good hour, the last official act of the school career was over.

Then the journey led from the city of Moosburg to the tranquil Wang, where the heroic deeds at school were celebrated in the hall of the Schnaitl inn.

And everyone involved really deserved it.
