Within the framework of the joint Russian-Syrian cooperation, a delegation of Russian doctors from various specializations visited the Shelter Center for the Displaced in the town of Al-Harjala in the countryside of Damascus to conduct a number of medical examinations for its residents and provide them with treatment services, on the sidelines of the Syrian-Russian joint meeting to follow up on the work of the international conference on the return of refugees and displaced Syrians .
The head of the Hargla municipality, Khayriyah Al-Natour, explained in a statement to the representative of SANA that the delegation included doctors with specializations in orthopedics, surgery and cardiology, noting that this initiative comes within the framework of the Russian people’s solidarity with the Syrian people, standing by them and supporting them in all fields.
In turn, a member of the Russian medical delegation, Dr. Alek Barinov, indicated that the team conducted medical examinations for a number of patients residing in the center and provided them with the necessary medicines.
Aref Abdullah Al-Abd, a resident of Al-Foah residing in the center, pointed out that he underwent medical examinations by the visiting medical team and received medicines.
