Geretsried - The city council had with a heavy heart saved the money for a 300,000 euro media column with LED screens as cladding for the elevator from the underground car park to Karl-Lederer-Platz.
If you were lucky, you could now say: The canopy of the glass elevator has broken.
The redesign was completed about a year ago.
"After a delivery, the roof was overlooked when parking," reports spokeswoman Veronika Platz from the Krämmel group of companies, which operates the underground car park - and thus also the elevator.
The damage was reported to them.
"We are already taking care of the repairs to make the elevator available again as soon as possible."
