In the Perlacher Forest near Unterhaching, two cyclists fell badly in an unsuccessful attempt to overtake.
Both were injured.
A rescue helicopter was in action.
Unterhaching
- On Tuesday around 5.15 p.m., a 54-year-old from Munich was out and about with his bike on the shared footpath and bike path on Oberbiberger Straße in the Perlacher Forest.
The man wanted to overtake a pedestrian near the “Am Weiher-Geräum” path.
A second cyclist rushes up from behind
At that moment, however, according to the police, another cyclist, a 54-year-old from the Munich district, was about to overtake.
The two cyclists fell and injured themselves, the Munich seriously.
Both came to the hospital in an ambulance, the requested helicopter was not used for transport.
Police are looking for witnesses
The police asked witnesses to the accident to report;
