Today, the fire brigade in Lattakia governorate extinguished three fires that broke out in dry grasses and trees in three locations in the governorate.

The commander of the fire brigade, Major Muhannad Jaafar, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the first fire broke out in areas of grass near the residential houses in Al-Bassa neighborhood and near Al-Munir Private School, where the firefighting teams managed to control the fire and put it out before the fire spread to the homes of citizens, indicating that the area Damaged from the fire is estimated at 6 acres of grasses and trees.

Jaafar indicated that a second fire was extinguished near the textile factory, which affected areas of weeds on the site, in addition to extinguishing a third fire in an area of ​​weeds in the Al-Shati Al-Azraq area in Lattakia city.
