Syria strongly condemned the misleading campaigns, falsification of facts and incitement of the US administration and its tools against Cuba and other countries, and renewed its full solidarity and standing with friendly Cuba over the renewed conspiracy against it.
An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement to SANA today: The Syrian Arab Republic strongly condemns the campaigns of misinformation, falsification of facts and incitement run by the US administration and its tools against Cuba and other countries, within the framework of its aggressive policy and its desperate attempts to subject Cuba to American dictates.
The source added that the American pressure did not stop there, but rather reached the practice of organized state terrorism through the terrorist attack on the Cuban embassy in Paris and before it in Washington, in flagrant violation of all international conventions and norms related to the sanctity of diplomatic missions.
The source stressed that the Syrian Arab Republic, while renewing its full solidarity and standing with friendly Cuba over the renewed conspiracy it is being exposed to, is confident that the Cuban people and their victorious revolution, which faced the unjust US blockade sixty years ago, are able to abort and thwart this conspiracy, preserve Cuba’s sovereignty and its national options, and preserve its achievements and gains.
