A traffic police officer was run over and killed by a van while on duty this morning along the 131 Dcn state road in Posada, in the Nuorese area.
The policeman was 36 years old and was on duty at the Nuoro Polstrada.
The dynamics of the tragedy are not yet clear, on the spot for the reliefs there are the Polstrada agents with the commander of the Stradale di Nuoro, Leopoldo Testa.
From what has been learned, the traffic police patrol had intervened to rescue a stranded motorist when the van overwhelmed him.
