TSG Hoffenheim gives something back after its training camp in Rottach-Egern and supports the local FC, FC Real Kreuth and Club Tegernsee.
Tegernseer Tal - For the second time, the professional footballers of TSG Hoffenheim enjoyed the hospitality at Tegernsee during their one-week training camp, this time they also gave something back to the region.
In several ways.
There is the “Hoffexpress”, the Bundesliga club's fan mobile that Club Tegernsee has brought to Bavaria. On the FC Real Kreuth facility, around 600 children let off steam in the shooting speed test, the reaction measurement system, the table football or the mobile soccer field. A complete success, as Holger Kliem, Head of Media and Communication at Hoffenheim, emphasizes. “The Hoffexpress was accepted and we received a lot of positive feedback.” For example, those responsible and players on bike tours in the valley were repeatedly approached by children who enthusiastically thanked them for their time on the Hoffexpress.
And financially something remains in the valley. The non-profit association “TSG hilft” supports Club Tegernsee, FC Rottach-Egern and FC Real Kreuth - each with a mid four-digit amount, according to reports. “We would like to thank you very much for this generous support. We will use these again in a targeted manner, ”wrote Andreas Scherzer, chairman of Club Tegernsee. “We are a small association that is always happy to receive guests. Your donation is really important to us, as there will be no sources of income this year or last, ”says Florian Schöpfer, CFO of FC Rottach-Egern. Karl Kandlinger from FC Real Kreuth also expressly thanked him: "Since our club festival had to be canceled for the second time - and our main source of income was lost - we are very happy,that you support us with a donation. That helps us a lot for youth work in the coming season. "
