María Asunción Moreno, Nicaraguan presidential candidate, talks to CNN about her decision to leave the country due to the arrests that the government of Daniel Ortega has made of opponents and political activists.
Moreno says that he decided to fight from exile for all his fellow detainees, and that Ortega does not own the future of Nicaragua.
He adds that, although the president is in command of the institutions, he does not have the citizen will of a free and democratic nation.
