Ocean Park’s Board of Directors appoints Huang Sihui as Chief Executive Officer to assume his new role on August 16

The Ocean Park Board of Directors announced today (28th) that the appointment of Huang Sihui as the next Chief Executive Officer to replace Huang Zhizu, who was seconded to the park from the government, will take effect on September 1, 2021.

Huang Sihui will assume his new role as CEO-designate on the 16th of next month and begin the handover work with Huang Zhizu.

Ocean Park stated that Huang Sihui is a business leader with deep customer and market acumen and innovative spirit. He has outstanding expertise in business restructuring, market planning and digital commerce, and his corporate management experience spans entertainment, telecommunications, information technology, media and catering. Industry, most recently as the Group Operations Director of Liji International Group Co., Ltd., responsible for managing the business in the Greater China region, that is, the parent company of UA Cinemas, which has been closed earlier.

Liu Mingwei, Chairman of Ocean Park, said he welcomes Huang Sihui to join the management team. "He has a deep understanding of the market and has extensive business experience from product development to business reorganization. He is an ideal candidate to serve as the CEO of the park. He will work with me and the directors. The bureau will jointly promote the new development strategy of the park and lead the transformation of the Ocean Park."

According to the information provided by Ocean Park, Huang Sihui graduated from Trinity College, University of Toronto, and went to INSEAD and Harvard Business School for further studies and attended senior executive courses.

He is a senior member of the Chartered Marketing Institute of the United Kingdom and the chairman of the Hong Kong Institute of Marketing. He has won numerous awards for marketing achievements, including the Excellent Marketing Planning Professional Award of the 2009 "HKMA/TVB Outstanding Marketing Planning Award".
